Wooden Pre-writing Boards | Set of 2 | Double Sided

This set of two Pre-writing Boards has been designed to teach little ones the first lines that they will need to be able to create before they start to form letters. Children can either trace the lines with their finger or use the wooden tracing stick which is provided with the boards. This is a great tactile way for children to draw the types of lines which make up the letters of the alphabet.

There are a variety of activities which can be done with a child when using these pre-writing boards. These include: making crayon rubbings of the lines and filling the lines with pom-poms or beads or coloured counters.

The first board focuses on the basic lines used in most letters e.g. straight horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines and on the reverse there is a repeating pattern which will help children draw those lines. The second board has curved and wavy lines which also help to form letters of the alphabet and on the reverse are the next stage shapes that will help them in forming letters.

The two boards are supplied together as a set of 2.
