These Phonics Flashcards are a fantastic resource to help little ones start to recognise the letters and sounds they will learn in phonics. Phonics is taught in schools and pre-schools across the UK and it helps children to recognise the letters of the alphabet and the sound that each letter makes. These flashcards can be used at home and in school. We know that for many parents, phonics is a completely new idea to them, so we have included an information card that gives a summary of what phonics is, and explains some of the keywords used when talking about phonics.

These phonics flashcards come in two sets which correspond with the phase two and phase three sounds taught in schools. There is a beautiful hand drawn image to go with each letter to help children recognsie the sound it makes. Youngsters can trace the letters with their fingers and use them to make words. They are an ideal resource for children from the age of 3 upwards who are just starting to learn phonics.

Each pack of phonics flashcards contains phase two and phase three sounds and an information card. There are 26 sounds in the phase 2 set, 23 sounds in the phase 3 set and one double sided information card making a total of 50 cards.

The phonics flashcards are printed on A6-sized Eco-Kraft recycled card so that the print is easily visible and the children aren’t distracted by bright colours. This is particularly helpful for children with additional learning needs.

The flashcards come with an organic cotton bag to store them in. This product is plastic-free.
