A nursery and preschool group in Essex has undergone a fantastic room refresh and revamp with MOE’s indoor range of furniture, storage and learning resources. Situated in the lovely nature reserve of Norsey Woods, this 3-year-old room has been updated with the Indoor Reading House as a room feature, role play area, indoor chairs, square table, discovery trays (sand & water stations) and open shelving.
One of the main design requirements was to keep the space open and flexible to provide free-flow play and movement. This preschool is primarily focussed on outdoor learning, however desired to bring the ‘outdoors in’ in terms of style, rustic feel and natural look.
The reading house acts as a lovely focal point in the room and create a quiet zone whilst the role play area offers interactive hands-on play. The open shelving can be accessed on both sides for natural resources and loose parts play with added practical wheels for mobility.
