Have you considered outdoor toileting in Early Years? A Sustainable Alternative

Posted by GeorgieMOE, 05 February, 2021

As preschools, nurseries and schools spend more time outdoors with extensive learning gardens, we have noticed a significant rise in enquiries for outdoor facilities, toileting and welfare units.  The trend towards off-the-grid and eco-friendly solutions that save on resources and prevent pollution is not only found in Forest Schools but also extends to home gardens and mainstream education providers.

MOE is proud to have created two timbered eco-composting toilets for a preschool in Essex.  These units provide a toileting alternative that is suitable for all children two years and above that are potty or toilet trained. It provides a safe, sustainable effective way to save resources and prevent pollution, as well as being discreet for children to use.   Our structures provide a pleasing timber appearance that is robust and high quality.   The modular design allows for quick installation on a firm base.

The little ones grow up with an awareness of environmental protection and sustainability from the very beginning and learn that there are wonderful and resource-saving alternatives to the conventional water closet, which are just as comfortable and hygienic.
