These Tricky First Words Flash Cards are a great resource for supporting children to learn tricky first words at home. Tricky words are words that children can’t sound out phonetically, and this pack includes all of the tricky words taught in phase 2 – 5 of the Letters and Sounds Government document.
These Tricky First Words Flash Cards can be used at home and in school and there is a helpful information card included that explains a little bit about tricky words, what they are, and why children will be learning them. On the back of the information card, there is a table which lists all of the tricky words in their different phases, and the order children will be taught them at school.
The Tricky First Words Flash Cards are a set of 41 cards and are printed on A6-sized Eco-Kraft recycled card so that the print is easily visible and the children aren’t distracted by bright colours.
The flash cards come with an organic cotton bag to store them in.

- We offer Free Delivery to mainland England (known as Zone A- England). This includes our standard palletised shipping (for all our larger bulky products) and smaller items as well.
- Smaller items are delivered by Parcelforce. If you are not in, you will receive a card for collection at your local post office.
How long will my products take to arrive?
If our item is stocked then it will be with you within 2-4 weeks, however if the item is larger or a larger order size – the lead-time can take up to 8 weeks.
Product arrival dates may vary depending on the complexity and scale of the project.
